We are a law firm with offices in Hamburg, Berlin and Wismar.
As a medium-sized, highly specialised law firm, we provide our clients with comprehensive advice in all areas of entertainment and commercial law, both nationally and internationally. From the drafting of contracts to complex legal proceedings: with us you are in best hands.
Why us
Our law firm was founded in 2003. An initial focus of the firm’s practice was music law. Some of our lawyers were themselves active for a long time as musicians, concert promoters, DJs, managers and music publishers. They still are to some extent. Consequently, our passion has become a focus of our work.
Over the years we have grown steadily and expanded our fields of activity. We now maintain three locations. Our ten lawyers have different industry knowledge and key qualifications, which intertwine in their advisory practice. These include certified lawyers in copyright and media law, intellectual property law, IT law and employment law, as well as TÜV-certified data protection officers. Reinher Karl (partner) also works as legal counsel for the Verband unabhängiger Musikunternehmer*innen (VUT e.V.). Heiko Wiese (partner) is a representative of the Spitzenorganisation der Filmwirtschaft e.V. and the Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle der Filmwirtschaft e.V. (FSK). Arne Platzbecker (partner) is a member of the Hamburg Parliament.
Our clients include well-known artists and companies from the music, film, theatre, media, tech and advertising industries. What they expect from us and appreciate in us is not only the solution of complex legal problems and disputes. A lot of people can do law. We can do more. Our lawyers observe and accompany the developments of new technologies, innovations and business models. We understand what is important to our clients and what will be important in the future. We provide far-sighted and strategic advice – always with the commercial interests of our clients in mind.
