He is particularly passionate about providing strategic and legal advice to associations and companies in the cultural and creative industries as well as to authors and creative professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 1996, he has been advising the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spio.de\/\">umbrella organization of the film industry<\/a> (SPIO) at national and European level on legal policy issues relating to copyright law, the protection of minors, media law and the digital single market. At the suggestion of SPIO, he was appointed to the advisory board of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kuenstlersozialkasse.de\/\">K\u00fcnstlersozialkasse<\/a> in 2021 and elected as chairperson together with Victoria Ringleb for the advisory board period 2024 to 2028. He also represents SPIO on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kulturrat.de\/ueber-uns\/fachausschuesse\/\">German Cultural Council<\/a> &#8216;s expert committee on copyright and in <a href=\"https:\/\/k3-d.org\/\">k3d<\/a>, the Coalition for Cultural and Creative Industries in Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His legal practice focuses on the changing value creation processes in the cultural and creative industries as a result of digitalization and artificial intelligence. He provides legal and strategic advice to associations, companies and creative professionals on adapting their business processes to the new legal framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another passion for Heiko Wiese is stage labor law. As Bernhard Riepenhausen&#8217;s successor from 1995 to 2020, he advised the Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland associations of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.buehnengenossenschaft.de\/\">Cooperative of German Stage Owners<\/a> and represented their members in labor and stage arbitration proceedings.
